Murano glass dates back to 1291, when the Government of Venice ordered the glass-makers (lampworkers) to relocate to the island of Murano to prevent  huge fire.  It is now reputed to be the best glass work in the world and perfect to combine with

Yes, each pair is handcrafted using traditional Murano glassmaking techniques by artisans in Venice, Italy.

 Q: What makes Murano glass unique?
Murano glass is known for its vibrant colors, clarity, and craftsmanship — making every piece a unique work of art. ONLY glasswork (lampwork) which is made on the Island of Murano, Italy can be described as Murano Glass, despite a LOT of glasswork (whether it is handcrafted or not being described as Murano; there are times when it is not).

Q: Are the earrings suitable for sensitive ears?
Yes, the ear hooks come in hypoallergenic metal options (e.g., sterling silver or surgical steel).  Naturally, all my  earrings and necklaces are sterling silver
