 Quality handmade sterling silver necklaces, made using traditional silversmithing tools and tecniques - often these date back to ancient days.  Many of the processes achieve a finish that can not be made by a machine.  For instance, the tree necklace is hand pierced using a small jeweller's saw and this piercing is too fine for an automated process.
